2 Cor 6:2

2 For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

This verse is very powerful and is sometimes translated as, “Today Is The Day of Salvation.” Your life is infinitely short in relation to eternity and everyday is important. Your focus needs to be living now in a way to assure you will reach heaven. None of us know when our end is coming. So this day is very important – today. NOW is very important and putting off this most important of all things is unwise. It is good advice not to be a follower but to understand what you believe and why.
The world is God’s and you are here to be tested and the test is difficult. You have choices and you can follow the wisdom from above or the wisdom of men and women. Much of the wisdom of men and women takes the form of religion and so you have this to overcome and often there has been good indoctrination. One of the great lies is that there is some safety in religion, some safety in being a “good person.” You can in effect “go to sleep” in the comfort of such ideas. Life is serious and you need the truth and then act on the truth and live faithfully to the truth everyday. The truth is not just a belief but is doing the truth, that is doing what God requires you to do. There is just one way to show your love to God and it cannot be done with words but as Jesus taught, “If you love Me, keep my commands.” Many, many people simply want to believe and never understand that such falls very short of pleasing God. The scriptures provide clarity in commands related to receiving forgiveness of sins and in direct statements related to the consequences of failing to do what God says. The only thing standing between you and the truth is YOU.

Matthew 7:21

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

The attitude that brings success in view of God’s commands is simply to do ALL God commands and do it for the reason God provides. So many people will find out they were never in the race for heaven. You enter the race by obeying the gospel and then once in the race (sins forgiven) you continue to live faithfully until the end of your life.

Much of the world fails to see the obvious and never enters the race so they have a chance to win the imperishable crown. That is, they reject God’s existence or they follow a path devised by man and in both cases they are in the “stands” watching the event called life but not participating in a way to succeed.

1 Corinthians 9.24-27

24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.
25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.
26 Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.
27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

It is interesting that people accept the theory of organic evolution although there is no evidence for man evolving from lower forms. There is evidence that living things evolve. Living things have changed and are changing to this day. The change is largely due to environmental effects, diets, and by the climate in which a person lives to mention a few. According to the theory of organic evolution over a very long period of time, monkey like creatures come into existence and they eventually evolve into men and women. Then men and women go to the next step and become intelligent – it took a long time but it finally happened. Of course, the fact that anything exists is even more amazing and the smallest of particles somehow came into existence from nothing. Nothing is what we should have but somehow there is something. Whatever this “matter” was that existed, it eventually evolved into everything, including you and me. Even the earliest matter consisted of some atomic structure. We know nothing today that does not have some kind of structure. I would suggest that this means there was intelligence at the beginning, even a beginning that was invented by men, such as the big-bang. If you really believe that the atomic nature of things could come into existence “by itself” then you are not being honest with yourself. Of course, God did not use the big-bang but simply spoke all things into existence including time. The bible account is very clear, “In the beginning, God.” Some unwise will say, the bible account is impossible, but nothing is impossible with God. You might say, I do not understand how “this or that” could be possible. Everything is going exactly according to God’s plan. You can choose to humble yourself before God and accept the message and if you do, you will become more and more convinced that God is the God of the bible. God’s plan is not to astound you with a perfect technical explanation of creation or is He trying to mislead you. Again, if you can open your heart to the truth, that is have a love of the truth you will understand God in a continually better way. God’s purpose is to have you succeed but only if you are the right kind of person for heaven. God’s test is absolutely perfect to accomplish His purpose.

So, about 93 billion people have lived but have passed on and about 7 billion additional persons are alive today. 93 billion people know that indeed, “Now is the day of salvation.” However, there NOW has past. Life was about their soul and essentially nothing else. You may live another 50 years but for many they select a course and never look back to see if it was the right course. So, NOW is important not just because you may not have a tomorrow but because “in today” you may be influenced to take a course that essentially ends your opportunity for heaven. Here is the good news, you are alive if you are reading or listening to this and no matter where you are in your life, you can recover and achieve heaven. It is YOU versus PRIDE, YOU versus SELFISHNESS and ultimately it is YOU versus SIN and your sin cannot be blotted out unless you want heaven badly enough to become a new person. The gospel message is the solution you need. Today can be the Fist Day of the Rest of Your Life where you can have an assured confidence of a great ending.

The Deceit In The World Will Amaze You

Besides the illogical belief in the big-bang theory and/or the theory of organic evolution the world has much deeper and I think more confusing deceit in the religious world. If you have a love of the truth more than you love that which you already believe you will quickly come to be amazed at the deceit of the religious world. Many people have complained, “how can I sort out one religion from another?” All you have to do is to be committed to nothing less than the truth. It will not take long to see the error of “all” religions because the truth is blatantly obvious and dramatically in its simplicity exposes error.

People will fail to succeed in life (receive heaven) because they are too complacent, too accepting. Behind that complacency is frequently an attitude that rationalizes God MUST act in certain way in relation to His creation. He must “save” good people as the world defines good people. Various rationalizations follow and pretty soon the way I live life is not all that serious. I am doing better than most. This is religion where man is God, defining God as they wish, and restricting God in their imagination. This website and one called, “Heaven Coach” are designed to help you get to heaven and there are many obstacles. The obstacle of religion is one of the most unfortunate because it destroys your eternity while claiming to offer you the solution for success. A good place to begin to sort out confusion is to understand you should, “Believe No One.” This may help some people, but the quickest route to a relationship with God is to follow the teaching which places you in a relationship with Jesus and results in the forgiveness of your sins.

So Much At Stake For You – Heaven Is In The Balance

One parting thought, indeed today is the day of salvation because the the days are evil in the sense that we always believe we have time. Days come, days go and the sun rises and the suns sets and certainly my life will continue and I will have another day. Felix called for Paul to hear of Jesus, but was willing to wait for a more convenient time to respond to the gospel.

Acts 24.24,25

24 And after some days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish, he sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.
25 Now as he reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and answered, “Go away for now; when I have a convenient time I will call for you.”

Jesus knew the seriousness of what He was doing for all of God’s special creation (men and women). He would suffer the terrible death and in His resurrection bring hope for mankind. During His time on earth he pointed to the kingdom of God being at hand and stated His mission as seeking and saving the lost. His warnings were direct and frequent and regarding the seriousness of life. He tells the parable of the rich fool and it is typical of greed, selfishness, carelessness, a lack of concern, and a lack of seriousness about what is really important.

Luke 12.16-21

16 Then He spoke a parable to them, saying: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully.
17 And he thought within himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?’
18 So he said, ‘I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods.
19 And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.”’
20 But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’
21 “So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”

The scriptures point out the days are evil and associate that with carelessness in the day and emphasize making our walk accurate and in wisdom making the best possible use of our time. Another way of saying this is, God is serious about life, His purpose and His plan and most fail to take life as seriously as they should. There is absolutely nothing more serious! I think you can imagine that if you fail in life you can look back and see the days were evil because you used them in service to yourself and not God.

Ephesians 5.15

15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,
16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

It is the wisdom from God for you to understand that today is the day of salvation. No one can be assured of tomorrow! Get serious about life, seek God, and seek truth with all your ability.
